The large garden at this lovely cottage was a breath of fresh air, quite literally! It was like stepping into a fairytale book with its lush greenery and vibrant blooms. We spent many evenings sipping tea and enjoying the peacefulness of the surroundings while the kids played hide-and-seek among the flowers. It was truly a magical experience!

I stayed at a posh cottage with a garden and free WiFi. They had a TV, but it might as well have been a postage stamp. The rust on the cooker added a nice touch of vintage charm.
Oh, and I had the pleasure of paying for a travel cot! How lovely to be charged for the privilege of using your own baby's bed.

I had a fantastic stay at this cottage. It was comfortable and had all the facilities I needed. The large garden was perfect for my dog and provided a lovely view of the nearby golf courses and sea. The location was great, just a short drive into town and within walking distance of the Fairmont clubhouse. The Fife Coastal path was also nearby, offering stunning scenery and great dog-walking opportunities. Additionally, the house was accessible for someone with mobility issues.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and plenty of nearby attractions. It was so convenient to be close to St Andrews, Anstruther, and Pittenweem, as there were lots of great places to eat and explore. Plus, the Fife coast offered amazing walks and gorgeous scenery. Another advantage was how relaxing the stay was - I felt so at ease and would definitely love to come back.
To my stay. the cooker was a bit outdated, which affected my cooking experience.

The hotel's decoration was charming and reminded me of my grandmother's cottage. I especially loved the cozy fireplace and the vintage furniture in the living room. The general areas were well-maintained, and the large garden was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the lovely view of the Fairmont golf courses and the sea. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with no stairs to climb and plenty of space to move around without any obstacles.
I would have liked to see more assistance available for senior guests. While the children working there were friendly, I think having someone specifically trained to cater to the needs of older visitors would have made the vacation even better.

Free WiFi and flat-screen TV, perfect for binge-watching my shows. The garden had such stunning views, I almost forgot I was stuck in St Andrews.
Oh joy, towel shortage! But don't worry, the proprietor was kind enough to grace me with more towels in less than an hour.
